Michael John McCarthy is a composer & sound designer for stage & screen.
He has worked on over 80 theatrical productions, including nine Scotsman Edinburgh Fringe First award winners.

He is the creator & composer of The Dream Frequencies, an audio theatre piece produced by the Traverse Theatre. He is also the lead artist on Turntable, a participatory arts & storytelling project, produced by Red Bridge.
His most recent album release is Sámh, currently available on Bandcamp. His new band Album Club are due to release their debut LP on Last Night From Glasgow in 2022.
